Community-based communication interventions for increasing repeat
donation among first-time blood donors in Ghana: a pragmatic type 1
effectiveness-implementation hybrid trial
A mixed-methods study involving a randomized controlled trial among
first-time donors within the catchment areas of the Southern Zonal Blood
Centre in Ghana to evaluate the effectiveness of WhatsApp and docudrama
interventions, each compared to standard National Blood Service Ghana
blood donor communications (control) to increase blood donation attempts.
The UG3/UH3 C-CAD studies are grounded in the PRECEDE-PROCEED
implementation science framework.
